Hydralese®Tx
Advance Your Nucleic Acid Delivery System
Solesis' Hydralese®Tx is a poly(glycerol ester)-based polymer designed to enhance transfection efficiency and support next-generation cell and gene therapy innovations. Built from our proprietary bioresorbable polymer, HydraleseTx enables chemical transfection through a single-component system that simplifies cell transfection workflows while improving performance.
By incorporating a biological payload, HydraleseTx forms a nanoparticle polyplex that can be efficiently delivered to cells, resulting in observable expression within 6–24 hours. These reagents are easy to use—requiring no additional additives or enhancers—and streamline transfection for both researchers and therapy developers.
The HydraleseTx Difference
HydraleseTx efficiently complexes with nucleic acids to increase cell transfection efficiency, ensuring payloads are securely captured, captured, can bind effectively to the cell membrane, and are optimally sized for cellular uptake. The ratio of PGE to nucleic acid can be tuned to control the stability of the resulting polyplex, allowing precise control over performance and reproducibility.
Key Advantages Include:
- Stable in both serum-containing and serum-free media formulations
- HydraleseTx can deliver both mRNA and pDNA in vivo
- Can be pre-complexed and stored at 4°C to -80°C or freeze-dried and reconstituted
- Protects mRNA and supports in vivo transfection
- Improved particle stability compared to polyethyleneimine (PEI) commonly used for gene delivery
Demonstrated efficient transfection and strong expression levels across diverse cell types. Applicable to ocular therapies where the polyplex beneficially interacts with mucosal layers.
- HEK293T cells
- Primary corneal cells
- Polyclonal induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
